Baptist pastor from Dallas shares 7 things he’s learning about transgender people

It is remarkable what happens when you open up the lines of communication and actually educate yourself on a subject prior to passing laws based solely on fears of the unknown.

Until theses fear mongers mature, it is like trying to convince a child there is actually no monster under the bed.

  1. Nice article. I want to believe there are more people, even pastors, willing to have an open mind and educate themselves on this topic. There was a time in my life when I didn’t know what was going on with me. I was mad at myself. I told myself it was wrong. And yes, even questioned what enternity meant for me. I treated myself the same way we see people a lot of people acting now. Finally I started to learn and seek answers. Then my life started to make sense. I know that education and understanding will help the people that want to understand. Until then, I feel the best thing for me to do is keep learning. Sharing my experiences with the ones that know me best, helps all of us understand. I believe education is the key. Education has really helped me when having a conversation with a friend or co-worker. I think we will see more people seeking knowledge, hopefully sooner than later. Interesting article.
